The Junior Welsh Squad, selected for the 6th World Junior & Cadet Championships & U21 WKF Cup, have just returned from Morocco:

The Squad consisted of the following athletes;

Natasha Paton VGKO
Elliot Evans VGKO
Ashley Watkins WKK
Sean Rees OKA
Rhys Davies VGKO
Anthony Bridge WBKA

Overall, the Squad performed well with some excellent outcomes.
Sammi Scott (WKK) and Luke Davies (VGKO) gaining Top 16 positions (Joint 15) and Jordan Harris (WBKA) going one step further with a Top 8 (Joint 7) finish.
The experience gained from extra fights at this level of competition, is immeasurable and all 3 athletes should use this as a slingshot to a podium finish in the future. Overall improvements show the Squad moving in a positive manner.

Individual appraisals will be used in the de-briefing session and forwarded to the Personal Coach. The DVD analysis session will take place shortly.

Great Trip! Very Well Done to all that took part, but now is not the time to rest! You have a little more work still left to do, before the Christmas Break. It's not Party Time YET!

The selection for the European Juniors takes place on Sunday 29th November at the New Dojo, WIS, Cardiff.
Performances at the World Championships (Morocco), European Championhips (Paris), International, National & Domestic results will determine selection.

For those of you selected, there will be 2 sessions over the Christmas Break. Sorry! .........Bah Humbug!
